2007 was a RAINFOREST Christmas for National Veterinary Education Association Chairman, Prof. Kendra Ryan! Each Christmas the NVEA in conjunction with the "Lancelot Foundation" help people with Service Dogs get the chance to enjoy theme parks like Disneyland.
Professor Ryan and two friends from Canada enjoyed the live aquarium as everyone had lunch in the "Rainforest Cafe" at Disneyland in Anaheim, California USA. It looks like even the elephants got into the holiday spirit!
Our thanks to the NVEA for these great pictures!
Prof. Kendra Ryan, Chairman of the National Veterinary Education Association, tries to defend herself against a powerful Jedi Master, as she has a Light Saber fight with one of our littlest Jedi Knights at the annual "Animal House Magazine" party at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California.
Our thanks to Mlle. Alice Bracher of Fribourg, Switzerland for these great photos!

Dr. Gueniat and her husband have been members of the Swiss Singing Society for years, which performs traditional Swiss folk songs in four languages throughout both America and Switzerland. The annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival benefiting many local charities was held at the Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio where the popular American television western "Deadwood" is filmed. There were lots of cowboys & cowgirls in attendance this year, including some of our N.V.E.A. special instructors and Board members. Check out the pictures below in our Gallery to see what fun we had in California - USA!
It looks like a few of our members made friends with some real American cowboys! There was lots of food, entertainment, activities and of course, horses, at the festival. California has a long tradition of western horsemanship and is proud of its western heritage. The Cowboy Poetry Festival helps to keep these traditions alive, and teach them to each new generation.
Our own N.V.E.A. "cowgirls" in this picture are from left to right, Cate Crismani, writer for the "Equestrian News"; Prof. Kendra Ryan, Director of Education for the National Veterinary Education Association; Candi Cooper, Special Consultant for the N.V.E.A.
Dr. Michael Reuben, Equine Chiropractor & Instructor was getting all the attention from the ladies of the N.V.E.A.! Here's Dr. Reuben with Prof. Ryan and Equine Behaviour Consultant, Candi Cooper.
