Prof. Kendra Ryan is the 2007 - 2008 Chairman of the National Veterinary Education Association and Director of Education for the prestigious Society of Internet Doctors headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition, she is one of only a handful of international women Chief Executive Officers. She is the co-author of the "Half-the-Staff Employee Evaluation" system, which incorporates innovative employee screening and evaluation techniques for hiring personnel and technical staff. Her candid, and sometimes raucous observations on practice management and office administration, make her a popular guest speaker at veterinary medical conventions where she has won special recognition as "Best Speaker" and "Best Program Presentation". As a computer programmer, Prof. Ryan has consulted on the design of such advanced Internet technology as the Interactive Appointment Book which allows patients to actually schedule an appointment with their veterinarian online in real time, 24 hours a day. Originally from County Kildare, Ireland, Prof. Ryan now makes her home in Switzerland, and is the god-daughter of the late "Star Trek" creator, Gene Roddenberry. Her Internet company, Vet Web Designers, is setting the industry standard for veterinary website design and the unique needs of the veterinary community with unmatched professionalism and service. Professor Ryan is the author of three educational text books on veterinary practice management including "Internet Rx Fulfillment"; "Successful Veterinary Websites"; and "E-Commerce For Veterinarians"; She has been called the "Martha Stewart" of practice makeovers. Her innovative management style and often light-hearted approach to explaining overly complicated technology, have made her a hit with audiences everywhere. As the President and Senior Director of Practice Management Systems for Virtual Clinics, Dr. Camp has successfully consulted with hundreds of veterinarians and veterinary practice managers on how to increase employee efficiency and successfully grow their veterinary practice to significantly increase profit margins. Dr. Ronald Camp holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic and is a Certified Veterinary Chiropractic Technician. In addition, Dr. Camp holds a B.A.I.S. in Clinical Nutrition and serves as a staff consultant for canine and feline dietary requirements to help prevent common illnesses through dietary management and wellness care treatment plans which include Hill's Prescription Diet; Royal Canin Diets; and Purina Veterinary Diets.
Dr. Camp has over 30 years experience in medical and veterinary practice management, and has been a private practice physician in both Europe and the United States. He currently makes his home in Los Angeles, California where he serves as a President of Virtual Clinics Management Consulting Group and is a Professor of veterinary clinical nutritional research in Switzerland.
As a Practice Management Consultant, Dr. Camp teaches veterinary practitioners how to expand their client services to include innovative technologies in pet health care such as Veterinary Prescription Diets, Veterinary Chiropractic, Veterinary Acupuncture, Alpha-Sonic wave treatment, and Veterinary Allergy testing to assist Veterinarians in diagnosing dietary and environmental pet health care issues.
